WHATSAPP IS NOW ZUCKERBERG'S APP!

Well, you read that right, Whatsapp has now been turned into Zuckerberg's app. Don't worry, you don;t have to search the App Store by 'Zuckerberg's app', as the name of the Application is same but the ownership of Application has changed.
Whatsapp, which had been a great hit as an Instant Messaging Service that allowed users to send messages as well as videos, images and other things to their co-users by internet, its simplicity and flexibility has been the main reason behind Whatsapp's success. The Whatsapp's popularity was posing a threat to Facebook's income as well as popularity as more and more people are leaving Facebook and switching to Whatsapp. Whatsapp provided the feature of using your mobile phone number as your username and it even had many privacy features because of which you will only be able to contact those people whom you have in your contact list. These were a few features behind Whatsapp's popularity.
Zuckerberg didn't wanted to lose his influence over the social media so he signed a deal with Whatsapp's founder Jan Koum and co-founder Brian Acton. The deal was successfully signed and as a result of which Whatsapp's control has been shifted to Facebook. The Facebook is planning to merge Whatsapp with Facebook and it will allow many new features to Whatspp such as Searching any person on Facebook directly from Whatsapp, sending messages to non-Facebook friends from Whatsapp and many more.
Google tried to buy Whatsapp before Facebook but it was not successful even though Google was offering more money as compared to Facebook.
So, lets see whether Zuckerbeg can gain his lost control back from this multi-Billion deal!

Deal Done For : $19 Billion
